As an organization, Louisiana SHRM benefits from a robust volunteer infrastructure that sustains the activities of the organization. Essential to this sustainability are volunteer leaders from our SHRM member community who are willing to offer their time and talent and potentially lead other volunteers in activities that meet the needs of local SHRM chapters, National SHRM initiatives and serve the HR and business community in Louisiana.
The Louisiana SHRM State Council provides a structure for key volunteer leaders in the state to consult together on the affairs, activities, needs and problems of the Society in Louisiana and to adopt programs to promote the progress and welfare of the Society as a whole.
