Speaker Bios:

Dana LeBherz is a passionate and life-long learner and leader who specializes in helping state agencies become learning organizations.  She and her team at Louisiana State Civil Service offer a portfolio of services including instructional design, development, and delivery, competency modeling, and human resource consulting that develops talent and starts crucial conversations with organizations that lead them to self-discovery, growth, and radical effectiveness.  Originally from Maryland, and with a long stint of overseas experience, Dana has made Louisiana home for the past twelve years.  She completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, got her MPA from the University of New Orleans, and earned her Ed.D. from Vanderbilt University.  

Meagan West believes in service, which is why she chose the HR field.  In her current role as an HR Business Partner for Flowers Baking Company of Baton Rouge, she coaches, leads, and directs to help employees align their success with organizational outcomes.  She also supports the HR profession by volunteering with GBR SHRM, LASHRM, Empower 225, STAR, Junior League, and other service organizations.   Meagan believes any HR practice can improve by relentless attention to the three core principles of engagement, empowerment, and empathy!
